How do I confirm my DJ booking ?

Firstly, you need to get a DJ Quote, and check DJ Availability for your event date.

(After getting a DJ Quote and DJ Availability for your event date, you’ll be presented with an online payment button to secure your event date)

You can now secure your event date by making a mandatory and non-refundable 20% deposit payment online. Please note, this means you only need to pay 80% remaining balance for your total DJ booking fees on or before 10 business days before the event date.

After the successful payment of your 20% deposit as explained above, you’ll receive an email confirmation which includes Receipt for your Deposit, Agreement Contract of DJ Service Booking and Invoice for the remaining balance for your DJ booking fees. Please note the remaining balance for your DJ booking fees is due and must be received no later than 3 business days (5 days including the weekend) prior to your event which can be paid via the provided payment button in your Invoice.

When you pay the remaining 80% balance of your DJ booking fees, you’ll receive a separate email confirmation for the DJ Booking Payment Receipt and an Updated Agreement Contract of DJ Service Booking for your booked DJ service.

The Agreement Contract of DJ Service Booking will include all the details of the DJ service that you’ve booked, your event date, scheduled times, details of the allocated DJ for your event, etc.

DJ and Sax Services Ireland

Charles Parker Jr. (August 29, 1920 – March 12, 1955), nicknamed “Bird” or “Yardbird“, was an American jazz saxophonist, bandleader, and composer.^[1] Parker was a highly influential soloist and leading figure in the development of bebop,^[2] a form of jazz characterized by fast tempos, virtuosic technique, and advanced harmonies. He was a virtuoso and introduced revolutionary rhythmic and harmonic ideas into jazz, including rapid passing chords, new variants of altered chords, and chord substitutions. Parker was primarily a player of the alto saxophone.

Parker was an icon for the hipster subculture and later the Beat Generation, personifying the jazz musician as an uncompromising artist and intellectual rather than just an entertainer.^[3]

Charles Parker Jr. was born at 852 Freeman Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas, to Charles Parker Sr. and Adelaide “Addie” Bailey, who was of mixed Choctaw and African-American background. He was raised in Kansas City, Missouri, near Westport Road.^[4] His father was often required to travel for work, but provided some musical influence because he was a pianist, dancer and singer on the Theatre Owners Booking Association (T.O.B.A.) circuit, later becoming a Pullman waiter or chef on the railways. Parker’s mother worked nights at the local Western Union office during the 1920s.^[5]

Parker first went to a Catholic school and sang in its choir, but his parents separated in 1930 due to his father’s alcoholism and the effects of the Great Depression. By the time he was in high school, Parker, his older half-brother John, and his mother Addie were living near 15th Street and Olive Street and she was working as a cleaner in order to afford housing.^[6]^[4]

Parker began playing the saxophone at age 11, and at age 14 he joined the Lincoln High School^[7] band where he studied under bandmaster Alonzo Lewis. His mother purchased a new alto saxophone around the same time. Parker’s biggest influence in his early teens was a young trombone player named Robert Simpson, who taught him the basics of improvisation.^[8]

Parker withdrew from high school in December 1935, joined the local musicians’ union, and decided to pursue his musical career full-time.^[9]
